You devote yourself to an unheard of sport, there's no money in it and the tricks you attempt could kill you.
What would you do?
If you live and breathe mountain boarding as much as Andy Milenkovic, you ignore the naysayers, keep doing what you love and land the world's first double backflip.
For those unfamiliar with mountain boarding, which is most people, you strap yourself to a board with off-road wheels and hurtle downhill on dirt tracks. Add to this the thought of performing a double backflip and you've turned the difficult into the near impossible.
Trying to do the impossible would stop most people in their tracks. For Andy it was an exciting challenge. To get to this level he got ramps built, rode for countless hours and pushed the boundaries of possibility. While most would consider him crazy, he doesn't see it that way.
"I feel lucky to be part of a sport so unique, so right now, I've just got to make the most of it and just keep pushing."
Andy's determination to be a leading mountain boarder has never been motivated by fame or sponsorship deals. He was simply looking for an adrenaline fix between snow seasons. No one could have ever guessed he would become one of the best in the world.
